Clay Magic is a specially formulated "clay bar" hand applied treatment that removes bonded surface contaminants from the paint's finish. Road grime, surface roughness, industrial fallout, bug residue, and tree sap are reasons to include this process and it is the only way to remove these contaminants without using abrasive products. Clay Bar should always be used before polishing and sealing. This process leaves the finish "smooth as silk".

This service starts with the "Mini-Detail" service - we thoroughly clean the interior, including door panels, dashboard, gauges, vents, visors, steering wheel and column, and center console. Seats are cleaned and the carpets are shampooed – we include the trunk. If the seats are leather or vinyl, we carefully clean and treat them with Lexol to soften, preserve, and protect.

First the tires, wheels and fender wells are thoroughly cleaned. Then the vehicle is carefully hand-washed using a concentrated car wash shampoo. Using controlled air pressure, we carefully blow all excess water from vehicle – then the vehicle is hand dried. A 3 step process is now used to restore luster to the paint, "seal" the clear coat and protect the paint from the environment. The first step is the clay Magic process - specially formulated to remove the bonded surface contaminants (does not include overspray removal). Then we polish with Meguiar’s advanced formula blend of carnauba and synthetic polymer sealers to remove superficial scratches, stains, and oxidation. In the final step, using an orbital polisher we apply two coats of Polymer Sealer wax to provide maximum protection. (For old, heavily oxidized paint that is dull and no longer shines, the "Paint Restoration" service will need to be added for an additional cost.)

The door jams and moldings are cleaned and tires dressed.The carpets and upholstery are completely shampooed and scotch-guarded™. Leather is carefully cleaned - then treated with Lexol to soften, preserve and protect it. Door panels and dashboard are cleaned and conditioned. Instrument panels, gauges, vents, sun visors, steering wheel and column, center console, etc., are meticulously cleaned and detailed. Windows are cleaned inside and out.

Our trained technician will carefully steam clean your engine with hot pressurized steam and engine degreaser to remove dirt, grease, oil and other residues from your engine. This is great when you are looking for oil leaks, selling your car, or when you just want your engine to look great for a car show or your personal happiness. We have available top, bottom of engine or bumper to bumper. We also carefully blow dry the entire engine to ensure all excess moisture is removed and no problems will develop. (Engine Steam Cleaning is done at your own risk due to the potential for problems when the engine is exposed to moisture and pressure).

This service is designed for cars that are not heavily soiled, but need a quick interior spruce-up. We begin with the “Mini-Detail” and then thoroughly wipe-clean the interior, including dashboard, gauges, and visors. The entire car is vacuumed, including the trunk. At this point you can choose to have the carpets steam-cleaned and shampooed, or have the seats cleaned. Q. What is Overspray, anyway?

A. Simply put, overspray is paint on paint. It happens when you've happened to park your vehicle near a building or house being painted. You don't even have to be very close overspray can be carried by the wind quite a distance. It looks like a fine mist, usually all over the vehicle. If the paint happens to be the same color as your car, it may be first detected by feel running your hand over the surface of the vehicle is all it takes to make you look closer.

Q. How is it taken off my car?

A. Overspray is time-consuming and difficult to remove. Some types may have already damaged your clear coat. We can often perform a pre-test to determine the extent of the damage. Overspray removal must be done properly, using no harsh solvents or abrasives. Over the years, we have developed a safe, sure method for carefully removing overspray. Once the overspray has been removed, we polish the vehicle with a non-abrasive product and then apply two coats of polymer sealer wax. Our overspray customers often tell us they never realized their car could look so wonderful!

Q. Just how much is this process going to cost me?

A. The price ranges from $350 to $495, depending on type, severity, and extent of the overspray. The year, make and model of your car are also taken into consideration. The finish of the car is cut with a rubbing compound to brighten any remaining paint on the vehicle. The finish is then polished with light cleaners and polymer sealants followed by two coats of specially formulated wax, providing maximum protection and a deep luster to your vehicle's finish. Especially formulated for new cars, this service has the manufacturer's 5 year warranty, and is underwritten by an insurance company. This "Teflon" sealer is designed to provide the best protection of your cars finish. We began with the "High-Tech" detail and finish by applying three coats of the Teflon sealant to the vehicle. This product bonds to the upper surface of the paint or clear coat, forming a non-stick surface that will block UV rays that cause fading and oxidation. Periodic maintenance to touch-up or re-apply the Teflon sealant is advisable. Overspray removal is not included.

The "Detail of Details" – featuring the Connoisseur’s Detail package described above, but includes the "underneath" of the engine steamed as well. While the vehicle is lifted, the inner sides of the wheels are also cleaned.
